gaushala: Priyanka Gandhi slams Yogi govt over situation of ‘gaushalas’ in UP

Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday attacked the Yogi Adityanath dispensation over the situation of ‘gaushalas’ (cow shelters) in Uttar Pradesh and requested if Prime Minister Narendra Modi would demand accountability from the state authorities over the problem.

Her assault came visiting media reviews claiming that cows from a ‘gaushala’ in Banda had been buried alive.

“..@myogiadityanath ji, your authorities’s administration buried tons of of cows alive in Banda. In your authorities, cows are victims of cruelty and inhumanity in gaushalas,” Priyanka Gandhi alleged in a tweet in Hindi.

“@narendramodi ji, you’re in UP right this moment. Will you demand accountability from the UP authorities over the plight of gaushalas?” the Congress common secretary stated.

Banda District Justice of the Peace Anurag Patel had earlier stated 134 cows and different cattle had been taken from the non permanent ‘gaushala’ in Naraini and shifted to 4 different non permanent cow shelters on Saturday.

On Monday, a report of those animals being buried alive within the forest of Madhya Pradesh was printed in a newspaper.

The Uttar Pradesh authorities has suspended an official in reference to the alleged burying alive of cows and different cattle.
