Higher.com CEO Vishal Garg apologises after shedding 900 staff over Zoom

The CEO who final week laid off 900 staff in a single Zoom name has apologized after he attracted sharp criticism when the video was posted on social media.

Vishal Garg, head of on-line mortgage originator Higher.com, convened staff over the video streaming platform and informed them “if you’re on this name, you might be a part of the unfortunate group being laid off,” in accordance with a video posted on-line. “Your employment right here is terminated, efficient instantly.”
